What markets does SNG Grant Thornton operate in?

We provide assurance, tax and advisory services to dynamic organisations – listed companies, large privately held businesses and private equity-backed organisations. We also have specialist teams that service the public sector at all levels.

Where does Grant Thornton have offices?

Globally, Grant Thornton has almost 700 offices in over 140 countries. In South Africa, there are 12 Offices operating in 13 cities.

Can I choose to do my traineeship at any of SNG Grant Thornton’s offices?

When can I apply for my traineeship with SNG Grant Thornton?

You can apply for a training contract at any point while studying within the CA stream. However, you can only start working with us once you have obtained your CTA qualification.

As a trainee will I only be exposed to audit work?

At SNG Grant Thornton our trainees are not just audit trainees. There are opportunities to work in our advisory teams, whether it is corporate finance, tax or IT advisory, there is scope beyond traditional audit.

Does SNG Grant Thornton pay for my board exams?

We pay for your first attempt at the exams and the fees involved in the preparation courses (Board Course / APT). We also give you study leave so that you have adequate time to prepare.
