Senzeni Mtetwa - MCom (Financial Economics)

Senzeni Mtetwa is a Tax Technology Specialist at SNG Grant Thornton.

Senzeni is involved in data analytics and programming for the public, banking, and mining sectors. His duties covered the end-to-end data analytics process from the backend, where he was involved in data modelling and integration and the frontend responsible for building reports, dashboards, and other analytics. Some of the companies that he was involved with include:

•  South African Revenue Services

Senzeni was part of the team that built the SARS Enterprise Datawarehouse, the e-Filing system, Reporting System and other Applications. 

• Liberty Life

Senzeni worked on proof-of-concept exercises and new technologies intended to improve the efficiency of brokers and consultants in delivering value to clients.

• ABSA Bank

Senzeni worked on interest rates risk analytics models for Group Treasury and reporting for the South African Reserve Bank.

• KV3 Advisory Services

Senzeni worked on several infrastructure projects building risk models, econometric and financial models.

• Kalagadi Manganese

Senzeni worked on building econometric and financial models for Kalagadi Manganese and was the custodian of all data relating to finance. He was also involved in building revenue projection models.
