Business Development Manager

Our client, Eswatini Housing Board (EHB), is seeking a qualified and experienced candidate for the Business Development Manager position.

To identify and develop business initiatives for the EHB that drive implementation of the corporate strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design processes to implement Executive Department’s strategy.
• Facilitate and coordinate development of strategy by Board.
• Manage the operational implementation of the organisation’s strategy.
• Develop annual business plans.
• Over-see research and analysis on the supply and demand of property in Swaziland and prepare quarterly publications for Management.
• Manage housing needs analysis process for EHB clients.
• Develop property acquisition and development proposals as required.
• Implement SHEQ management strategies for the unit.
• Contribute to the development of departmental plans and budgets.
• Develop and implement EHB’s monitoring and evaluation framework across the organization, to ensure that organizational programs and projects are systematically collecting data and incorporating evaluation methodologies across their work.

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics or related field.
• Post graduate Diploma in Management will be an added advantage.
• Experience in dealing with government or public enterprises is advantageous.
• 5 years experience in Business Development, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• 3 years of research experience.
