Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Vacancy

Location: Eswatini

On behalf of our client, the Eswatini Development and Savings Bank (Eswatini Bank), we invite applications from qualified and skilled candidates with the required strategic agility, managerial experience and drive needed to implement the Eswatini Bank strategy and business goals.

The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director, form part of the Executive Management team and contribute to driving the strategic direction, operational effectiveness, and financial performance of Eswatini Bank. Strategic thinking, integrity, personal credibility, and computer literacy are essential for success in these positions.

The position is responsible for fiduciary control of Bank assets; effective and efficient use of financial resources through robust planning and budgeting processes; and supporting decision-making across the Bank through the provision of relevant and timely financial information.

The CFO will develop and execute the Bank's financial strategy, goals, objectives, and policies, ensuring that Eswatini Bank is risk-protected and financially healthy.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

  • ACCA or CA(SA)
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in finance within the financial services sector, with at least 7 years in a managerial role.
  • International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) experience.
  • Exposure to systems and procedures in commercial and development banks in Southern Africa.
  • Letter of good standing with respective institution.
