Dr Machiniba Sylvia Sathekge is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience gained across a wide range of Business and ICT areas, both at strategic and operational levels with a proven track record.

She has held strategic senior positions in Agriculture & Manufacturing; Tax, Audit & Advisory; Mining & Metals; Aviation & Aerospace; Utility and Public sector industries. She has also held Board positions for Private and Public enterprises.

Very good at getting the best out of people and has highly developed interpersonal skills. A strategic and innovative thinker, customer-focused and results-driven. She has the ability to understand complex issues and problems and develop workable solutions, delivering business value through technology-enabled change.

Academically, she holds a Doctoral Degree from Business School Netherlands; two Masters degrees: Masters of Science Degree with specialisation in Technology Management from the University of Pretoria, Masters Degree in Business Leadership (Finance) from University of South Africa, and B-Tech degree in IT obtained from the Tshwane University of Technology. Has several non-academic but professional qualifications in the field of Business, Management and Information Technology.
