While the COVID-19 pandemic shifted the global landscape of doing work, particularly with the introduction of remote and hybrid way of working, many companies had to quickly learn to adopt and implement strategies to improve their employee experience.

Our IBR data shows that 50% of mid-market businesses are creating an environment where all colleagues can 'speak up' with ideas, issues and questions and while 49% are instilling new working practices to better engage employees e.g., teamwork and collaboration.

These are some of the strategies needed to enhance the employee experience as a way of attracting and retaining a strong and engaged workforce.
