Piloshini’s journey was profoundly shaped by two key figures: her father, Mr. Daver, who recognized her academic potential and secured a bursary from Tongaat Hulett, and her training officer, Mr. Templar, who mentored and groomed her into the professional she is today. Mr. Templar remains her mentor to this day.
Piloshini’s higher purpose as an Assurance and Provincial Leader is to impart knowledge and experience to future leaders, including trainees and managers.
She holds ethical and honest leadership in high regard, leading by example in these qualities. As the leader for the Western Cape, she is committed to fulfilling this mission.
She maintains a healthy work-life balance by prioritizing physical health with daily gym sessions and weekend walks on the beach with her family. She also enjoys cooking and baking with her daughters on weekends as a form of bonding. Music is a constant presence in her life, keeping her grounded and sane.
Piloshini is excited about the opportunity to inspire and be a role model for young women in the industry as she embarks on this leadership journey at SNG Grant Thornton.
