Josias Montjane - CA(SA)

Josias is a Corporate Tax Specialist at SNG Grant Thornton.

He is a qualified CA(SA) with a master’s degree in taxation from the University of Pretoria and has over 13 years of work experience within the corporate tax field.

His prior work experience includes working as a tax specialist at senior level at the South African Revenue Service (SARS) where he was responsible for executing integrated and complex corporate tax audits for various taxpayers. During his time at SARS, as a sector leader for mining and quarrying, Josias was responsible for managing the tax gap study instituted by Davis Tax Committee.

His specialization areas include corporate tax advisory, mining and royalty taxes, corporate restructuring, review of income tax disclosure in the AFS, including the effective tax rate and the deferred tax disclosure, etc.
